Cleveland Coppersmithing Works is a third generation family owned company established in 1927 with four generations of coppersmithing knowledge and expertise.
We are a custom metal fabricator specializing in limited production and one off equipment for the aerospace, distillery, brewery and chemical industries. We work with a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, including nickel alloys, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, zirconium, and all copper alloys.
We pride ourselves on quality and craftsmanship and are capable of any size project with a fast turnaround. We look forward to working with you to fabricate all of your prototype and production needs.

Distillery and Brewery Equipment
Since before prohibition our company has made distillation and brewery equipment for large and small companies alike. All of our equipment is custom designed and personalized to meet the customers needs. We specialize in hand formed stills made the old way to provide a unique product which stands out from the compitition. We also offer repair, alteration and maintenance for equipment.
Bending and Coiling
We bend all metals by hand either hot or cold. All pipes are filled so that the bend will be round and wrinkle free, bent to your desired radius and specification. Our company specializes in multi-layered induction and heat exchanger coils that combine cooling and conductor coils. We are capable of bending square and specialty shaped tubing ranging from zero to 8 inches O.D. schedule 5 and thicker.
Welding and Brazing
We offer onsite brazing as well as per hour welding in shop. Our welders have the capabilities of TIG welding copper ranging from thin foils up to 1 inch. Our equipment includes dual 580-amp TIG welders in-order to weld any thickness. We are also capable of perfectly welding copper to stainless and copper to titanium with our own proprietary processes. We also are capable of welding a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, including nickel alloys, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, zirconium, and all copper alloys.
Engineering ~ Consultation ~ Installation
Due to the nature of our work, never fabricating the same thing twice, we have a vast knowledge and expertise that allows us to solve any problem which may arise. Much of the equipment that we create has never been made before which requires new techniques and processes to be developed on the spot. We assist in creating world class products for the aerospace, pharmaceutical, cryogenic, pilot plant, chemical and research industries.
